The play "Pirates and Petticoats" was a huge hit and enjoyed by all. The hilarious play written and directed by Linda Ellisalde depicted the life of Jane Long during the 19th century here on the Bolivar Peninsula. Over 1500 people showed up for the special event on the Bolivar Peninsula @ Fort Travis Seashore Park On October 8, 2011.
